A blog allows you to chronologically display information on just about any topic and I have found them to be more specific to a blogger's interest. A wiki allows you to create a document and anyone that has access can edit the document. In the end you get a final product that can be published.
I have been fumbling with my wiki ALL week trying to figure out how it works. I have had the opportunity to edit but never starting one on my own. Now that I know how to start one, I am trying to figure out how a wiki can be useful in P L C's and grade level meetings. I've got some ideas on the brain let's see what week two has to offer.
You are not by yourself. I know that once I get it I will be great. It's just getting started.
ReplyDeleteI have stayed away from wikis for some reason ... this class is forcing me to take a closer look at them and come up with ways to use them both professionally and personally.
