I plan to mirror all of the wiki's that I have seen during this class for my library. Especially, Molina's Wiki. There were a lot of components that would be useful in a high school library.
The video is ready to share with the staff. When we return, I am going to share with the staff and ask them to show to their students.
I have been using Google Reader since I took the class this summer. It is wonderful, it beats sitting and searching for blogs of interest. Plus, all your favorites are in one place.
Now the GLOG (ummmm). Not quite sure how I will use it. However, I did see some research papers and assignments done by students. I think I am going to share with some teachers to use as an alternative to writing a paper.

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie By Laura Numeroff
A great read for readers of all ages that teaches a lesson or two.

What is the difference between a Blog and a Wiki?
A blog allows you to chronologically display information on just about any topic and I have found them to be more specific to a blogger's interest. A wiki allows you to create a document and anyone that has access can edit the document. In the end you get a final product that can be published.
I have been fumbling with my wiki ALL week trying to figure out how it works. I have had the opportunity to edit but never starting one on my own. Now that I know how to start one, I am trying to figure out how a wiki can be useful in P L C's and grade level meetings. I've got some ideas on the brain let's see what week two has to offer.

7 Things Class
I have chosen to take this class because I want to learn to use Web 2.0 Tools in an interactive format. I think that you learn more when you are learning with others that share the similar interests. Also, I hope to take some of this skills learned and implement them on my campus.
